Workshop on Innovative and Clean Energy Technology for MSMEs

MSME Development Institute, Karnal,Ministry of MSME and World Resources Institute (WRI) in association with Institute for Sustainable Communities (ICS) & Technology InformationForecasting Assessment Council, GOI (TIFAC).

We are giving below the details of different Events being held in India or abroad in recent months for your reference and kind perusal. ..
Events(May 2015):-

  1. A meeting was held on Chairman HERC which was attended by members from Panipat, Panchkula and Yamuna Nagar. We had a good interactive meet with the Chairman and appraised him of the difficulties faced by the industries. The Chairman has also agreed to appoint two members of HCCI, Sh. A.L. Agarwal and Bharat Garg as members of the State advisory committee
  2. National Executive meeting of FICCI was held in Hotel Lalit, Chandigarh. Our State President and Secretaries were invited. Our Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal Khatter, Sh. Sukhbir Singh Badal, Deputy Chief Minister, Punjab and senior officials from Haryana, Punjab and Chandigarh were present.
  3. 4th May, 2015 . The High Court has ordered that all industries that are listed in the red category by the pollution control board and are presently situated in non industrial areas/estates should be shifted out of the town to notified industrial areas/estates. An emergency meeting was called by the Government of Haryana in Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi on 4th May, 2015. The meeting was attended by senior officials of the Haryana Government and the meeting was presided over by the Principle Secretary, Sh. Devender Singh Ji. The President, Sh. Bharat Garg attended the meeting.
  4. 16th May, 2015 . The General Body Meeting of the Chamber was held at Kaithal on 16th May, 2015. It was a well attended meeting. Sh. Ramesh Wadhwa, CA, gave a very interesting presentation on Goods and Service Tax (GST). The president informed the members that the registration of the HCCI was finally renewed. The Kaithal Chapter led by their Chairman, Sh. Sudesh Bansal hosted the GBM and everyone present praised their warm hearted hospitality.
  5. The HCCI signed a MOU with Hannover Milano Fairs India (subsidiary of the two of the largest trade fair companies from Europe, Deutsche Messe AG, Germany and Fiera Milano S.p.A, Italy). They are the organizer of ‘India Partner Country’ at Hannover Messe 2015, Germany. They are also the organizers of sister event of Hannover Messe in India – World of Industry (WIN) INDIA to be held from 09 – 11 December at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. HCCI shall be the Associate Partner in WIN INDIA exhibitions to be held from 9th Dec to 11th December at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
  6. 20th May, 2015 . HCCI signed a MOU with the Government of Ras Al Khaimah, UAE on 20th May, 2015 for holding three seminars in different parts of Haryana, namely Sonepat, Yamuna Nagar and Panchkula at the end of June, 2015 to promote the new Industrial township Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.
  7. 29th May, 2015 . A meeting of the State Advisory Committee, HERC was held in Sector 4, Panchkula on 29th May, 2015. It was attended by our Vice President, Sh. A.L. Agarwal and our President, Sh. Bharat Garg. Both emphasized the need to lower the power tariff being charged on the industries. They also stressed on having a single tariff system and the fixed charges to be abolished. They were assured that now onwards the power tariffs shall be reduced in the state and that the Government is seriously thinking of abolishing the double tariff system.
  8. The draft of the new Industrial policy for Haryana was uploaded on the Government website. Our suggestions and objections were sent to the concerned ministers and officers in detail.
Events(April 2015):-
  1. 6th April, 2015 . we had a meeting with Joint Secretary, Ministry of Commerce and Industries of the Central Government, Sh. Shailendra Singh at Udyog Bhawan, New Delhi to discuss the problems being faced by the industries, specially the small scale industries. The Secretary assured that our problems would be looked into and all possible help would be accorded
  2. 8th April, 2015 . MUDRA BANK, as announced by the Honourable Finance Minister in his budget speech, was launched on 8th April, 2015 by our Honourable Prime Minister, Sh. Narender Modi Ji at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. Many of our members attended the launching of the Mudra Bank in New Delhi. Mudra Bank is a bank to support and Finance the MSME.
  3. 10th April, 2015 . The Delhi International Terminal at Sonipat in Collaboration with Haryana Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized a presentation on “Pipavav as Preferred Gateway for Trade” at Hotel Noor Mahal, Karnal. This event was attended by many of our members who are engaged in Export and Import.
Events(March 2015):-
  1. 9th March, 2015 . A meeting was held in the head office of HSIIDC, Panchkula to discuss the new Industrial Policy 2015. The meeting was presided over by Sh. Devender Singh Ji, Principle Secretary, Industries, Government of Haryana. It was attended by MD HSIIDC and other senior officers of the Industries Department of the Government. Our members along with other industrialists from various corners of Haryana gave their suggestions to the government officials. In the meeting we had a very exhaustive discussion on the new Industrial Policy and the meeting lasted for more than four hours.
  2. 12th March, 2015 . We had another meeting with the honourable Principle Secretary, Industries, Sh. Devender Singh Ji in Karnal during the Vendor Development Programme organized by MSME. In this meeting again we informed the Government about the difficulties being faced by the Industrials of Haryana. Mr. Devender Singh Ji gave a very patient hearing to the problems and assured us that urgent steps shall be taken to find remedies to our problems.
  3. During the month several other meetings were held with various officials and other industrialists in our endeavour to have a Industrial policy that would be beneficial for the growth and development of the industry and the state
  4. During the month of March we have also held several meetings with the Member Secretary and Chairman Haryana State Pollution Control Board to streamline the problems being faced by the industries in Haryana. We are hopeful that by the end of April several problems would be resolved.
Events(Feb 2015):-
  1. INDIA 3rd of Feb., 2015 . State President, Bharat Garg, State General Secretary, Sh. Gursharan Chawla, State Secretary, Dr. Ashwani Goel visited Sonipat Chapter, Samalkha Chapter, Panipat Chapter and Karnal Chapter to have a one to one meeting with their Executive Committees. The meetings were very fruitful and the members discussed their problems, their activities till now and their future plans.
  2. 7th Feb.2015 . a meeting was organized by the Karnal Chapter with the MD, HSIIDC. This was a well attended meeting with other associations from and around Karnal also participating. Our State General Secretary and a few other members from Yamuna Nagar also attended the Meeting. In the meeting problems relating the HSIIDC industrial plots and the forth coming new Haryana Industrial Policy were discussed.
  3. 13th Feb.2015 A public hearing with HERC was held at Panchkula. Our members attended the meeting and put forward their point.
  4. 18th Feb.2015 )Our honourable Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal Khattar called a meeting in Haryana Secretariat, Chandigarh to seek suggestions for the new Haryana Industrial Policy. The meeting was attended by all senior officers of the Haryana Government. 21 members from the HCCI attended this meeting and had a very good interaction with the Chief Minister and the Government officers. A memorandum containing all our suggestions was also handed over to the Chief Minister.
  5. 22nd Feb.2015 A meeting was held with Sh. Ajay Kadian, Member Secretary, Haryana State Pollution Control Board, Panchkula and his other regional officers. The meeting was attended by about 30 members. We put forward the problems being faced by the industries in our endeavour to follow the pollution control norms set by the board. We had a very good interaction with the honorable member secretary and he assured us that all our points shall be studies and remedies would be found.
  6. 24th Feb., 2015 the Central Excise & Customs celebrated its Central excise day at the Principal Commissioner’s office in sector 8 Panchkula. It was a nice and cordial get together and was attended by about 10 of our members.
  7. 25th Feb.2015 Sh. R.K. Verma, First secretary Embassy of India, Athens(Greece) and Sh. Vijay Khanduja First secretary Embassy of India Hungary visited Barwala Industrial estate as part of State District and village immersion programme of Ministry of external affair Government of India. Our members attended the meeting.
