President's Message

This Chamber’s greatest strength is the galaxy of past Presidents. All past Presidents have helped to build the Chamber. Each and every one of them have contributed in their own way in building the status of this Chamber, All had their vision and dreams and aspired to do better than their past. Now the New Young & dynamic members are bringing in great ideas, working culture thereby giving the Momentum to the Chamber.

My prayers to the founder President of this Chamber, Late. Sardar Bhupinder Singh Jauhar Ji. The existence of the HCCI even after about 50 years of its birth lies in the strong foundation laid by him. His vision to have a CENTRAL BODY and Chapters in each district is the STRENGHT of this Chamber. He wanted the Chamber to have a strong footing all across HARYANA and not restrict it to a particular area. He wanted a HORIZONTAL GROWTH and NOT a vertical growth of the Chamber. We must continue to work with the same vision and spread our wings to increase the number of Chapters.

There is a lot to be done though a lot to be achieved. We are committed to make the Chamber the VOICE of the Industry and Trade in Haryana.

We need NOT ONLY the support and cooperation of ALL MEMBERS, but also your advice, active participation and the benefit of the contacts of EACH and EVERY MEMBER of this Chamber. I know that ROME was not built in a day, but we ALL have to work with INTEGRITY and DEDICATION to achieve our goals. LET US START TO DREAM TOGETHER

The priority on the State agenda of the HCCI in this term shall be:

1) To get all the chapters of the HCCI to work together under a coordinated system so that we can be more effective in our approach to the problems. The system under which all Chapters should perform need to be laid down.

2) To have a close liaison with the State and the Central Government so that they are easily approachable to tackle our problems.

3) To upgrade the standard of the Industry, specially the MSME so that we can work with more ease and grow faster.

4) To increase the number of Chapters in districts not represented by us at present.

The Chamber was involved in the updating the Enterprise & Employment Policy of Haryana, HSIIDC, HSVP & UHBVN Rule Books. For this we have had several meetings with the Government including Speaker, Officials & the Chief Secretary & the Principle Secretary, Industries and Commerce. The Haryana State Pollution Board is another department that is the cause of great worry to the Industry. We have had several meetings with the Pollution Board to streamline their working for the benefit of the board and the industry and we are confident that very soon the HSPCB and the Industry shall work hand in Hand.

In all our meetings with the various Ministers and Government officials we have been trying to impress upon them that it is more important for the government to play the role of FACILITATOR rather than a MONITOR. If we want true progress the Government has to change its attitude towards the Industry.

We plan to take up few major projects in the field of :-

  1. Environmental Protection & reduction of Pollution.
  2. Health & Fire Safety
  3. Social Security for MSME
  4. Change of perception about MSME. The MSME be viewed as Employment Generator & a Social Stabilizer.

“TOGETHER WE CAN----AND WE WILL”
