INTERPRETATIONS: In the interpretation of these provisions unless repugnant to the clauses subject or context the following words and expression shall have the following meaning:

1. Chamber means Haryana Chamber of Commerce & industry. A State Level Body having its Chapters at District Levels. The District Chapters of the Chamber are known as  Haryana Chamber of Commerce & Industry(name of the District Chapter)
2. Member means a member of the Chamber
3. Subscription means the annual fees to be paid by the member.
4. Register of members means the register of members kept to record the details of the member of the Chamber.
5. General Meeting means general meeting of the members.
6. President means the State President of the Chamber at the time being.
7. Vice-President means the Vice President of the Chamber at the time being.
8. Executive Committee means the Executive Committee of the Chamber at the time being.
9. Executive Members means a member of the Committee of the Chamber at the time being and shall be deemed include the President, Vice- President. Gen Secretary. Fin. Secretary and other office/ member as defined separately .
   Committee meeting' means the meeting of the members of the Executive Committee duly called and constituted or as the case may be, the members assembled at a meeting.
10. Chamber Regulation means the regulation at the time being for the management  and carrying out the work of the Chamber.
11. The word 'Commerce" or 'Commercial' wherever they appear shall be deemed to include and refer to Trade Commerce, industry, Banking, Insurance, Agriculture,Mining , transport and Communications.
12. The "Persons' including the persons engaged in profession (such as Solicitors, Charted Accountants, Auditors stock & Share Brokers' Management/Technical Consultants etc.) or persons including individuals, Firms, Partnership, Joint stock Companies, Associations, Co-operative Society Corp. or Corporate Body.
